Bentong is the third largest city of Pahang has been described as first "Fresh Air Lung Washing" Destination of Malaysia & Backyard Garden of Kuala Lumpur where its name derived from "ban untung" means profitable ban in Malay words while tin developers in here banned the more extracted of tin ore & gaining more profit or came from Malay words Bapong means float where the site Dato Bahaman struggle British army & throwing their dead body to the river & floating was happened & contains the bus terminal, future railway train services & public hospital. Bentong is also the district capital of Bentong District & local government seat of Bentong Municipal Council/Majlis Perbandaran Bentong. The town is famous for Hakka Cuisine & Guangxi Cuisine like bean curd puff/tofu pok & Guangxi Chicken, Kampung Perting has been titled as Guangxi Village & also the hand drawn signages & advertisements of shophouses that mostly drawn by local painter, Mr.Tang Yao Sheng(English translate)(唐耀生), the first Federal Land Development Authority(FELDA) colony of Malaysia which is founded on 1959 with a museum known as Lurah Bilut is also located in here, it is also the birthplace of local main vocal of local music band called 另类音乐人 & also composer, Ms.Yudi Yap(叶友弟) who is famous for songs like "茨厂街" 、"裙摇摆摆" & "桃花朵朵开" etc. Located not far from the Bentong is the Janda Baik located inside the Titiwangsa Mountains/Titiwangsa Range where its name means Good Widow in Malay words that famous for its Pulau Santap, eco resorts & fig farms.

文冬是一个以马来名字"ban untung"意译为赚钱性禁止因当时这里锡矿矿商禁止多次挖掘锡米以及领取更多的收入来命名及拥有公车总站、未来铁道火车服务和公共医院的被誉为马来西亚第一座“清肺游”目的地以及吉隆坡后花园的彭亨第三大城市。另一个说法是源自于马来名字“Bapong”意译为漂浮因这里曾是拿督巴哈曼(Dato Bahaman)与英国军队战斗后将他们的尸体丢下河内漂浮的地点。文冬也是文冬县的县府与文冬市议会(Majlis Perbandaran Bentong)的地方政府所在地。这里以如豆腐卜与味念鸡等客家与广西菜肴、被誉为广西村的玻璃口新村还有大多数由本地画家唐耀生先生所绘的店屋的手绘招牌与广告闻名，开辟于一九五九年含有一间博物馆的全马来西亚第一座联邦土地发展局垦殖区美律谷也坐落在这里，它也是以如《茨厂街》、《裙摇摆摆》和《桃花朵朵开》等歌曲闻名的本地音乐组合另类音乐人的主唱兼填词人叶友弟女士的出生地。位于文冬不远处就是其名字在马来文意译为好寡妇的位于蒂迪旺沙山脉内的以浮罗三答、生态度假村以及无花果园闻名的贞德拜。

The double storeyed central market of Bentong which is rebuilt on 1973 located in the Ah Peng Street which is named after the former manager of local mining company, late Mr.San Peng(辛炳) that selling the local products of Bentong such as ginger, bean curd puff/tofu pok(豆腐卜), biscuits & egg biscuit(萨奇马) etc. During the Saturday night, a night market called Bentong Walk will be operating along the Chui Yin Street where is named after the former manager of local mining campany, late Mr.Chui Yin(崔贤) that contains the Bentong Chinese Assembly Hall/Dewan Perhimpunan Cina Bentong(文冬华人大会堂) which is the building of local social organization that built in 1914 with selling various food & beverage. The night market in Malaysia called Pasar Malam in Malay language which is the market that only operating during certain nights in every week.

The former Tong Shoon Company(东顺公司) where is also known as No.17 & No.18 Loke Yew Road/Jalan Loke Yew that opened by late Mr.Loke Yew(陆佑) on 1897 who is one of the founder of Bentong which has been transformed into a gallery that exhibits the history & development of Bentong & also the history of Mr.Loke Yew & other founders of Bentong, it is also contains tourist information centre, cafe & local products shop. The road that located in front of the gallery also called Loke Yew Road/Jalan Loke Yew. The first cafe/coffee shop in the world is the Kiva Han from Constantinople(now known as Istanbul) of Turkey. Located near the museum is the Kwong Fook Temple where is the hundred years old Chinese temple since 1880 that dedicated to Kapitan of Sungai Ujong/Seremban, Lord Sin Sze Si Ya/Seng Meng Lee(仙四师爷/盛明利) & famous for its double dragon gate, well-historic wooden plaque called 福锡民生 & wishing tree. The Sin Sze Si Ya Belief is the local Chinese folk belief of Malaysia which is originated from Cheng Koo Temple of Rasah in Negeri Sembilan State that dedicated to one deity, Sin Sze Si Ya or two deities Sin Si Ya(仙师爷) & Sze Si Ya(四师爷). The Chinese temple architectural style is the temple that constructed based on Chinese philosophy called Feng Shui(风水) with the structure features like dougong(斗拱), curved roof & eaves etc.

这间建于一八九七年前身为文冬开辟功臣之一的已故陆佑先生所经营的东顺公司(另名为陆佑路十七号与十八号)但现已改为展示着文冬的历史与发展以及陆佑先生与其他文冬开辟公臣的历史的展览厅，它同时也是文冬旅游咨询中心、咖啡厅与特产店。位于展览厅前面的公路也被命名为陆佑路(Jalan Loke Yew)。全世界第一间咖啡厅/咖啡店是土耳其君士坦丁堡(现名为伊斯坦布尔)的Kiva Han。位于文物馆附近就是建于一八八零年以双龙门、充满历史性的福锡民生牌匾及许愿树闻名的供奉着芙蓉(Sungai Ujong)甲必丹仙四师爷/盛明利的百年华人庙宇广福庙。仙四师爷信仰是源自于森美兰州亚沙的仙四师爷千古庙供奉着一尊神明仙四师爷或两尊神明仙师爷与四师爷的马来西亚华人民间信仰。中式/汉式庙宇建筑风格是根据华人/汉人风水哲理来建造像斗栱、曲线型屋顶与屋檐等建筑特色的庙宇。

The multi tiered waterfalls & cascades recreational area of Bukit Tinggi Hill Dipterocarp Forest Reserve of Titiwangsa Mountains/Titiwangsa Range where is one of the headstream of Pahang River/Sungai Pahang that its water flows very rapidly & contains a suspension bridge which can overlooking the waterfalls. Waterfalls is natural phenomenon which the water flows will be vertical drop into the plunge pool that formed with the erosion of the soft rock below the hard rock rapidly than hard rock. Dipterocarpaceae family are the trees mainly growth in the tropical rainforest & some are the endangered species. Located nof far from the waterfalls is The Bentong Farm which is the zoo branch of Farm in the City that breeding over 100 animals such as alpaca, racoon, Albino Buffalo/Pink Buffalo, python, pelican, emu & peacock etc. & planted miracle fruit, pomegranate, durian, star gooseberry, velvet apple & lemon etc. & also famous for giant models of durian, mangosteen & ginger.

这是位于蒂迪旺沙山脉内武吉丁宜山地龙脑香森林保护区内彭亨河其中一个源头的水流非常急及含有一座可瞭望瀑布的吊桥的多层瀑布和小瀑布休闲区。瀑布是由硬石层底下的软石层侵蚀快过硬石层而形成直垂下水潭的水流的自然现象。龙脑香科是主要生长在热带雨林中及一些还是濒危物种的树木。位于瀑布不远处就是抚育着超过一百种动物品种如羊驼、浣熊、粉红水牛、蟒蛇、鹈鹕、鸸鹋和孔雀等以及种植着神秘果/神奇果、石榴、榴莲、西印度醋栗、异色柿/毛柿和柠檬等还以榴莲、山竹和姜的巨型模型闻名的城之农场动物园的分园文东休闲农场。

In the Bentong, visitors can buying the handmade fried bean curd called Tofu Pok in the Bentong Market No.30 Fried Bean Curd/Tofu Pok, egg biscuits that originated from Manchuria area of China called Sachima in the 喜记 Stall & 旺记饭店 Stall & the homemade Kaya Puff & Pineapple Puff of Mokie Home-Baked Pastry. Bean Curd & Soy Milk is the Chinese food & beverage believed to be invented by Prince of Huainan during Han Dynasty of China called Liu An(刘安) that made from soybeans & Kaya is the jam made from coconut milk & egg which is famous for serving with bread in Malaysia & Singapore. Furthermore, visitors can tasting the dried Dumpling Mee in the Yuan Kie Coffee Shop which is contains the different dumpling mee stalls that operating during the day & night, the homemade ice cream of the T.A.K.Ice Cream Corner & Kow Po Coffee Shop even the unknown moving stall & the beverage called Geng Cao Ice(mixture of Instant Coffee/Nescafe & Chocolate/Milo),1+1(mixture of coffee & tea) & Teh Kiam Si(milk tea) in the Kopitiam Thong Kee or Weng Fatt Coffee Shop. Ice cream is the dessert that founded by Ancient China which is made by dairy products. During the midnight, an economic noodles stall which is selling the Shu Shu Fen that its name is derived from Chinese word of rubber, 树屎 due to it is originally selling to the rubber tappers will be opened for the night lovers to come here.
