Kuala Sepetang(Port Weld) Fishermen's Village/十八丁(砵威)渔村

Kuala Sepetang/Port Weld is the fishermen's village located near the river confluence of Sangga Besar River/Sungai Sangga Besar & Sepetang River/Sungai Sepetang where is named after the former Governor of Straits Settlements, late Mr.Frederick Weld that famous for the cockles, Chinese New Year festive food called Sugarcane Smoked Duck, mangrove red bark dyeing clothes, mangrove forest & charcoal factory. Located near the Kuala Sepetang/Port Weld is the Matang(not confused with Matang of Sarawak) where its name is derived from Malay word, Permatang means barrier & also famous for seafood rice porridge/congee & the Chinese temple where is dedicated to local Chinese God of Land, Lord Dato/Panglima Ah Chong/So Ah Chong(拿督公/蓝啅公/苏亚松). Taiping & its surroundings area has been listed as one of top 100 sustainable destinations of the world by Green Destinations on 2018 & the Taiping has been titled as first aged friendly town of South East Asia by World Health Organization(W.H.O.) & awarded the Third Place in the Best of Cities category of Sustainable Top 100 Destination Awards at the world largest travel trade fair known as International Tourismus-Börse(I.T.B.) Berlin in Germany on 2019. Kuala Sepetang/Port Weld & Matang are formerly famous for its fish harvesting of small shark called Oo Sit Bue(乌翼尾). Furthermore, the Kuala Sepetang/Port Weld is also part of Perak Ecotourism Cluster.

十八丁/砵威(前名为文德港/十八洞)是位于桑加河与十八丁河的交界处附近以前海峡殖民地总督已故弗雷德里克·韦尔德(Frederick Weld)先生来命名的以泥蚶/血蚶、名叫甘蔗熏鸭的年菜、红树林红木染色服饰、红树林与炭窑闻名的渔村。在十八丁/砵威附近就是以海鲜粥和供奉着华人当地土地神拿督公/蓝啅公/苏亚松的华人庙宇闻名的其名字源自于Permatang 意译为提坝的马登/峇登/峇东。太平与其周围地区在二零一八年被世界绿色旅游景点列为一百大永续旅游目的地之一以及太平在二零一九年被世界卫生组织誉为全东南亚第一座乐龄友好城市以及获得德国的全世界最大的旅游贸易展览会柏林国际旅游贸易展览会的可持续发展前一百大目的地奖的最佳城市奖项中获得第三名。十八丁/砵威与马登/峇登/峇东从前以捕获名为乌翼尾的小鲨鱼闻名。另外，十八丁/砵威也是霹雳生态旅游集群一部分。

Tomb of Ngah Ibrahim/雅依布拉欣陵墓

Matang Museum is the former fortress, office & residence of administrative officer of Larut(now known as Taiping), late Mr.Ngah Ibrahim & also office of British officers during the British colonial era & Japanese officers during Japanese Occupation era has been listed as National Heritage of Malaysia which is also recently functioned as Malay school before turned into the museum that exhibiting the history of the Taiping such as elephant called Si Larut which has been discovered the tin mining of Larut during the past, Larut Wars & Japanese Occupation even the historical figures of Perak, the historical artifacts of Taiping & interior design of the building like office of Ngah Ibrahim, court, British officer office, classroom, bedroom of Ngah Ibrahim & prison. Outside the museum is contains the final resting site of Ngah Ibrahim & old cannon.

3.Take a look the tin tailing.

马登博物馆是被列为马来西亚国家遗产的还没改为展览着拉律(现称为太平)历史如从前发现拉律锡矿业的拉律(Si Larut)大象、拉律暴乱与日本统治时期甚至霹雳历史人物、太平的历史文物以及建筑物内像雅依布拉欣的办公室、法庭、英国官员办公室、课室、雅依布拉欣的睡房与监狱的内观设计的博物馆兼前拉律行政官已故雅依布拉欣(Ngah Ibrahim)先生的前堡垒、办公室与故居兼英国殖民时期的英国官员和日本统治时期的日本官员的办公室同时也曾经作为马来学校。在博物馆外就是雅依布拉欣的长眠之地与旧大炮。

2.观看武吉斯族盔甲。
3.观看锡尾矿。
4.观看雅依布拉欣的睡房。

The Dragon Joss Stick factory located near the a Chinese temple called Yuan Tian Gong Temple(元天宫) where can seeing the making process of Dragon Joss Stick such as modelling & carving the model of dragon head, dragon tail & other 3D models such as pineapple & legendary figures etc. with sticky powder, sawdust powder & water by hands & molding boards, spray painting the dragon body & drying etc. that founded by Mr.Tan Ah Han(English Translate)(陈亚汉) & managed by Ms.Tan Seow Kheng(陈昭沂). The tallest & also largest Dragon Joss Sticks of Malaysia that burned on the Si Thian Kong Temple(西天宫) of Kuala Pilah during the Nine Emperor Gods Festival are also made in this factory. Furthermore, the factory is also making & designing the floats with wooden boards & sawdust powder. Dragon Joss Stick/Dragon Incense Stick is the sticky powder, sawdust powder & water made traditional praying material that used for praying the deities & releasing smoke by the Chinese community during special ceremonies & festivals.

这是位于一间名叫元天宫的华人庙宇附近由陈亚汉先生所创立与陈昭沂女士所管理的可观看龙香的制作过程如以双手与模板来用黏粉、木糠与水来捏造与雕刻龙头、龙尾与其它三维立体模型如菠萝/凤梨/黄梨和神话人物等、为龙身喷漆与晒干等的龙香制造厂。九皇爷诞期间在瓜拉庇朥的西天宫所点的全马来西亚最高兼最大的龙香也是此厂制造。另外，工厂也以木板与木糠设计与制造花车。龙香是华人/汉人社群在特别典礼与节庆期间用以祭祀神明及会出烟的粘土、木糠与水来制造的传统祭祀用品。

Sui Jing Bo Miao Temple of Matang/重建马登绥靖伯庙碑记

The hundreds years old Chinese temple where is dedicated to Chinese God of Peace, Lord Chen Zhongzhen/Sui Jing Bo(绥靖伯/陈仲真) that rebuilt by 1893 by Ghee Heng(义兴) Leader & also Kapitan(甲必丹), late Mr.Chin Ah Yam(陈亚炎) & Hai Shan(海山) Leader & also Kapitan, late Mr.Chung Keng Quee(郑景贵) when the Larut Wars of Ghee Heng & Hai San has been ended with Pangkor Treaty on 1874, this history has been recorded inside the plaque of interior of the temple called Historical Record of Rebuilding the Sui Jing Bo Miao Temple of Matang(重建马登绥靖伯庙碑记). The Chinese temple architectural style is the temple that constructed based on Chinese philosophy called Feng Shui(风水) with the structure features like dougong(斗栱), curved roof & eaves etc.

这是当一八七四年拉律暴乱以《邦咯条约》为结束后由义兴领袖兼甲必丹(Kapitan)已故陈亚炎先生与海山领袖兼甲必丹已故郑景贵先生在一八九三年所重建的供奉着华人和平神明绥靖伯/陈仲真的百年华人庙宇，这间历史已被记录在庙内名为《重建马登绥靖伯庙碑记》的碑文上。中式/汉式庙宇建筑风格是根据华人/汉人风水哲理来建造像斗栱、曲线型屋顶与屋檐等建筑特色的庙宇。

Kuala Sepetang(Chuan Seng) Charcoal Factory is the charcoal(nicknamed as Black Gold) producing factory by using the mangrove tree woods of largest surviving mangrove forest reserve & also best preserved mangrove forest reserve of Malaysia called Matang Forest Reserve since 1930 that founded by late Mr.Chua Khay Hor(蔡启户) & owned by Mr.K.Y.Chuah(蔡祺勇) has been opened to public for learning the making process of charcoal such as the canal that used for transporting the woods by boats to the factory, smoking the woods into charcoal by using the red brick & mud made round shaped kilns with different methods & used bucket to collect the vinegar that can be used for medicinal purpose from condensation of the smoke from the hole of kilns etc. & selling the charcoal related products & souvenirs. It is also the filming site of local Malaysian television series, "Glowing Embers"(炭乡). Behind the factory is the another charcoal factory called Charcoallection Charcoal Factory. Charcoal is the black carbon material which can used as automotive fuel, industrial fuel, cooking fuel, medicine, horticulture material & artworks purpose etc. Located near the factory is the Matang Mangrove Forest Eco-Education Centre/Pusat Eko-Pendidikan Hutan Paya Laut Matang where is the mangrove park located in the Jebong Forest Reserve that contains accommodation facilities & mangrove walkway. The Mangrove Forest is the coastal ecosystem that occurs in tropical region & subtropics region with mangrove trees whose are growth in the blackish water, it can protecting the coastal area from erosion, tsunami & storms. The wetland area is the ecosystem where can functioning as flood control, water purification & shoreline stabilization.

泉成炭窑是建于一九三零年由已故蔡启户先生所创立和蔡祺勇先生所经营已开放让公众了解木炭的制作过程如用以让船只运送木材到炭窑内的运河、以不同方法来用红砖与泥土制造的圆形炭窑来熏木材成为木炭以及用桶来收集从炭窑洞口喷出来的烟冷凝下来的拥有医疗用途的醋等和售卖与木炭相关的产品与纪念品的用全马来西亚最大的红树林保护区兼保存最好的红树林保护区的木材来出产木炭(外号为黑金)的炭窑。它也是马来西亚当地电视剧《炭乡》的取景地。在炭窑旁边就是另一间炭窑黑金之家。木炭是可作为交通工具燃料、工业燃料、烹饪燃料、医药、园艺物质与艺术品用途等黑炭物质。位于炭窑附近就是在吉邦森林保护区内拥有住宿设施与红树林步道的红树林公园马登红树林生态教育公园。红树林是在热带地区与亚热带/副热带地区出现由生长在黑色水域的红树组成的滨海生态系统，它可以保护滨海区逃离侵蚀、风暴与海啸。湿地区是可拥有洪水控制、净化水源与平衡海岸线用途的生态系统。

Furthermore, the village is also provided the river cruise services to the fish farm that breeding Tilapia, horseshoe crabs & puffer fishes etc., Sepetang River/Sungai Sepetang eagle feeding tour with feeding the eagles that mostly are Brahminy Kites with chicken intestine, Kuala Sangga Fishermen's Village tour & Sepetang River/Sungai Sepetang fireflies tour during the night. If luckily, visitors can also watching the dolphins are swimming around the river estuary.
