Brief Description of State of Johor Darul Takzim/柔佛州简介:
Johor is the fifth largest state in Malaysia & third largest state in Peninsular Malaya. It is also the southermost part of Eurasia Continent. The Johor is name after the arabic word Jauhar means Gems/Jewel. Darul Takzim means Abode of Dignity in Arabic words. The Modern Johor Sultanate is founded by Temenggung Daeng Ibrahim on 1855 & his son, the Sultan Abu Bakar is the first Sultan of Modern Johor Sultanate. The state capital of Johor is Johor Bahru where contains a causeway linking the Malaysia & Singapore. But now, only royal palace located in here because the administrative centre of Johor has been moved to Iskandar Puteri(Nusajaya). Furthermore, the Sultan of Johor has been declared the Muar(Empress City/Bandar Maharani) is the royal capital of Johor although state official palace still located in Johor Bahru. Johor Bahru is the southern city of Malaysia where famous for its Johor Bahru Chingay Parade. In the same time, it also contains a lot of heritage religious sites for visitors to admire such as Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque, Indian Mosque, Arulmigu Raja Mariamman Devasthanam Temple, Johor Bahru Sikh Temple, Johor Old Chinese Temple(the origins of Johor Bahru Chingay Parade) & Church of Immaculate Conception. Thus, the Arulmigu Sri Raja Kaliamman Glass Temple is the first Indian temple in the world that built by glass. Visitors can learning the history of migration of Chinese community to Johor from Johor Bahru Chinese Heritage Museum & Johor Bahru Kwong Siew Heritage Gallery and also see the white house of Tan Hiok Nee Heritage Walk. Behind the Tan Hiok Nee Heritage Walk, you can found the Hainanese Chicken Chop, Charcoal Baked Bread, Roasted Duck & Kuey Teow Kia to eat. Next, one of the oldest zoo in Malaysia named as Johor Zoo also located in here. The official residence of Sultan of Johor is the Bukit Serene Palace where contains a huge royal crown arch & near the palace is the multi purpose recreational park called Danga Bay that consists of amusement park, marina, restaurants & artificial beach. Next, the main shopping area of Johor is the Johor Premium Outlets which is the first premium brands outlets shopping centre in Malaysia. Next, visitors can also visiting the F.G.S.Temple branch of Johor called F.G.S.Hsing Ma Si Temple in Skudai, the integrated development project called Forest City in Gelang Patah, feeding the crocodile in the Sarang Buaya Pasir Gudang Estuarine Crocodile Sanctuary of Pasir Gudang & the mural street called Let's Art Kelapa Sawit Center in Kelapa Sawit. Thus, Kukup is the location of one of the largest mangrove island in the world named as Kukup Island Johor National Park & southernmost point of Eurasian continent called as Tanjung Piai Johor National Park. Furthermore, visitors can visiting the Pasir Gudang Kite Museum of Pasir Gudang City Park, the Aw Pottery Studio to see the only pottery factory used the dragon kiln in Malaysia & see a lot of miniature models of famous landmarks of Malaysia & the world in Tropical Village. Batu Pahat is the town that famous for Chinese temple such as Hock Teck Tuah Temple, Fu Be Tan Temple, Chong Long Gong Temple, San Chun Qing Tian Gong Tua Pek Kong Temple & Goh Hong Cheng Sen Temple etc. so that the city desribed as Temple City of Malaysia. After that, you can also taste the coffee in Senggarang & Rengit. Yong Peng, the town not only famous for Fuzhou cuisine & kompia, it also famous for its well decorative temple named as Black Dragon Cave Temple, Tian Pao Kong Temple(tallest Ji Gong statue in Malaysia) & Yong Peng for the Che Ann Khor Moral Uplifting Society(largest dragon sculpture in Malaysia). Not far away from Yong Peng, visitors can relaxing in hot springs of Labis Hot Springs Recreational Centre. After that, visitors can learning the agriculture of Johor from Zenxin Organic Park, UK Farm Agro Resort, Kahang Organic Rice Eco Farm(KOREF) Resort(moved to Koref Desaru Leisure Farm of Desaru) & Desaru Fruit Farm. Visitors also can learning the Buddhism culture from Fa Yi Temple. In Muar, you can found the Fried Carrot Cake, Satay, Kuey Chap, Dumpling Mee, Bacon Dried Meat, Traditional Chinese Pastries, Otak-Otak, Braised Duck Rice etc. in Haji Abu Road/Avenue 4 & take a look the Muar River by Muar River Cruise in Tanjung Emas Recreational Centre. If you are a bird lovers, you can go to the Pantai Leka Fishermen's Village for bird watching, you can also taste the Assam Pedas that famous in Pantai Leka. In Tangkak not only the Tian Wun Sze Ho Ker Kuan Yin Temple, Tangkak Fabric Street also the favourite site for textile lovers. Kota Tinggi where the city famous for waterfalls which also known as Kota Tinggi Waterfalls Resort. Not only waterfalls, Teluk Sengat Crocodile World also famous as largest crocodile farm in Malaysia & Ostrich Showfarm Desaru also provided a recreational area for visitors. Near the Desaru Beach is the Tanjung Balau Beach & Fishermen's Museum which is a geoscience site & a museum that displays the history of fishery, maritime, geology & archaeology.
柔佛是全马来西亚第五大与马来亚半岛第三大的州属。它也是欧亚大陆最南端。柔佛的命名自于阿拉伯文Jauhar，意译为宝石。Darul Takzim在阿拉伯文意译为尊严之地。现代柔佛苏丹皇朝是由天猛公达依·伊布拉欣(Temenggung Daeng Ibrahim)在一八五五年所建立及他的儿子苏丹阿布峇卡(Sultan Abu Bakar)是现代柔佛王朝的第一任苏丹。柔佛州首府是拥有一条接着马来西亚与新加坡的长堤的新山。但现在除了皇宫外，行政中心已搬迁到伊斯干达公主城(努沙再也)。另外，柔佛州苏丹已宣布麻坡(香妃城)为柔佛州皇城但州官方皇宫还坐落在新山内。新山是以其柔佛古庙游神庆典闻名的马来西亚最南端城市。同时，这里也充满了许多历史性的宗教场所例如苏丹阿布峇卡清真寺、印裔清真寺、马里阿曼庙、新山锡克庙、柔佛古庙(柔佛古庙游神庆典的发源地)与圣母无染原罪堂。然后，亚鲁米谷斯里拉惹卡里雅曼玻璃庙是全世界第一间以玻璃建造的印度庙。游客可从新山华族历史文物馆及新山广肇文物馆了解华族南迁到柔佛的历史以及观赏陈旭年文化街的白宫。在陈旭年文化街周围，你可找到海南鸡扒、炭烤面包、烧鸭以及粿条仔享用。接下来，全马来西亚其中一间最古老的动物园名为柔佛动物园也坐落此地。柔佛州苏丹的官方住所武吉西岭皇宫拥有一座巨大的皇冠拱门以及皇宫附近拥有一座包含游乐园、游艇俱乐部、餐厅与人造海滩的多元化休闲公园称为金海湾。接着，柔佛州的主要购物区是柔佛名牌折扣中心，它是全马来西亚第一间名牌商店中心。接下来，游客也可参观士姑来的佛光山柔佛分院佛光山新马寺、振林山的综合发展计划森林城市、在巴西古当的巴西古当湾鳄园喂食鳄鱼与沙威名为沙威艺起来的壁画巷。然后，龟咯是全世界其中一座最大的红树林岛龟咯岛柔佛国家公园以及欧亚大陆最南端的丹绒比艾柔佛国家公园的所在地。另外，游客可参观巴西古当市立公园内的巴西古当风筝博物馆、全马来西亚唯一使用龙窑制作陶瓷的欧氏陶瓷厂与能看见许多马来西亚与世界著名标志模型的热带山庄走一趟。峇株巴辖是以其华人庙宇闻名的城市，著名的庙宇例如有福德坛四海龙王大伯公庙、福伯坛摸元宝大伯公、崇龙宫(摸鱼大伯公)、三春青天宫大伯公庙与五方正神十八罗汉庙等，所以峇株巴辖也被喻为马来西亚庙城。此外，你也可尝试新加兰与龙引的咖啡。永平，一座不但以福州菜肴以及光饼闻名的市镇，而且还以其装饰富丽堂皇的庙宇闻名例如永平黑龙洞三圣公神庙、天保宮(全马来西亚最高的济公像)与永平德教会紫安阁(全马来西亚最大的巨龙雕像)。离永平不远处有座拉美士热水湖休闲中心可让游客在热水湖中放松一下。之后，游客可在诚兴绿色有机公园、UK Farm 休闲农场、加亨有机稻米生态农场(已迁至迪沙鲁的科丽休闲农场)与迪沙鲁果园认识柔佛州的农业。游客也可以从法雨禅寺认识佛教的文化。在麻坡，游客可在麻坡贪吃街上寻找到菜头粿、沙爹、粿汁、馄饨面/云吞面、肉干、华人传统礼饼、乌达、卤鸭饭等美食以及在黄金丹绒休闲公园的麻坡河休闲游船上游览麻坡河。如果你是个飞禽爱好者，你可前往巴冬海口渔村观鸟而且还可以吃到当地著名的亚参鱼。在东甲除了天云寺乌髻观音之外，东甲布料街也是布料爱好者的好去处。哥打丁宜是以其哥打丁宜瀑布度假村的瀑布闻名的城市。不仅如此，南亚港鳄鱼世界还是全马来西亚最大的鳄鱼园与迪沙鲁鸵鸟园也提供了游客一个休闲好去处。在迪沙鲁海滩附近是以其地质学区及一间展览着渔业、海事、地质学与考古学的历史的博物馆闻名的丹绒巴劳海滩与渔夫博物馆。
