Kuala Lipis/立卑:

Zero Mile Stone/零公里里程碑

Kuala Lipis is the district capital & local government seat of Lipis District & the former state capital of Pahang before 1955 due to gold mining activities during British colonial era. It is also known as Historical Town/Bandar Bersejarah of Pahang & part of Lipis National Geopark/Lipis Geopark. It is also famous for Sambal Hitam which is the black coloured fried anchovies chilli paste & also contains the bus terminal, railway train services & public hospital.

The Things Must Do:
1.Take photo around the historical sites of Kuala Lipis.
2.Taste the food at Medan Tangga,Kuala Lipis Chinese Food Court & Tong Kok Hotel.

立卑是立卑县的县府与地方政府所在地以及因英国殖民时期的金矿活动而在一九五五年之前曾是彭亨州的首府。它也被誉为彭亨州历史城及也是立卑国家地质公园的一部分。它也著名于名为黑叁巴酱的黑色辣椒炒江鱼仔酱及也拥有公车总站、铁道火车服务和公共医院。

Thean Hou Temple/天后宫

The oldest Chinese temple in Kuala Lipis that built on 1898 during British colonial era & it is dedicated to Chinese Goddess of Sea called Lord Mazu(妈祖/天后娘娘). The Mazu Belief is the Chinese folk belief which is dedicated to the most influential goddess of sea of China who is originally called Lin Moniang(林默娘) that originated from Mazu Temple of Meizhou(湄洲妈祖祖庙) of Putian City in the Fujian Province of China has been described as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of China. The Chinese temple architectural style is the temple that constructed based on Chinese philosophy called Feng Shui(风水) with the structure features like dougong(斗栱), curved roof & eaves etc.

KTMB(Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad)/Malayan Railway Berhad is the railway train operator of railway train services of Peninsular Malaysia which is founded on 1885. The cascades recreational area is one of the headstream of Pahang River/Sungai Pahang where the river that divided into two then making some islets that located in Ulu Dong. There are some slides where can sliding into the stream in here. Waterfalls is natural phenomenon which the water flows will be vertical drop into the plunge pool that formed with the erosion of the soft rock below the hard rock rapidly than hard rock & cascades is the mini waterfalls which is caused by rock steps.

The multi tiered waterfalls & cascades recreational area of Dong Lowland Dipterocarp Forest Reserve of Benom Range where is one of the headstream of Pahang River/Sungai Pahang that located in Ulu Dong which its water flows very rapidly that famous for Rafflesia flowers like Rafflesia cantleyi & Rafflesia parvimaculata etc., it is contains a bridge that crossing the waterfalls. Waterfalls is natural phenomenon which the water flows will be vertical drop into the plunge pool that formed with the erosion of the soft rock below the hard rock rapidly than hard rock. Rafflesia is the parasitic flowering plant which is mainly found on Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines & Thailand. Dipterocarpaceae family are the trees mainly growth in the tropical rainforest & some are the endangered species.

这是位于乌鲁廊区文龙山脉内廊区低地龙脑香森林保护区内以如坎特利大王花与名为Rafflesia parvimaculata 的大王花等莱佛士花/大王花闻名的其水流非常急的彭亨河其中一个源头的瀑布与小瀑布休闲区，它拥有一座越过瀑布的桥梁。瀑布是由硬石层底下的软石层侵蚀快过硬石层而形成直垂下水潭的水流的自然现象。莱佛士花/大王花是大多在马来西亚、印尼、菲律宾与泰国发现的寄生性开花植物。龙脑香科是主要生长在热带雨林中及一些还是濒危物种的树木。
