Bako is the village located near the Kuching where is famous for Bako National Park has been listed as Key Biodiversity Areas(KBA) & Important Bird Areas(IBA), it is also part of Sarawak Delta National Geopark/Sarawak Delta Geopark.

Ching San Yen Temple is the well-historic largest Chinese temple of Kuching North located on the hill slope of the fishermen's village of river estuary of Sarawak River/Sungai Sarawak(the river estuary is also geosite of Sarawak Delta National Geopark/Sarawak Delta Park) with seafood restaurant called Muara Tebas with height of 36.5m where is dedicated to founder of Buddhism, Lord Gautama Buddha/Sakyamuni(释迦牟尼佛) & Chinese Goddess of Sea, Lord Mazu(妈祖/天后娘娘) that believed to be built by Chinese community from Fujian Province of China, it is the former Buddhist temple managed by local Chinese social organization, Kuching Hockien Association(古晋福建公会) after transforming into Chinese temple, it is contains the stone inscription that describing the history of the temple. The Mazu Belief is the Chinese folk belief which is dedicated to the most influential goddess of sea of China who is originally called Lin Moniang(林默娘) that originated from Mazu Temple of Meizhou(湄洲妈祖祖庙) of Putian(莆田) Municipality in the Fujian Province of China has been described as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of China. Buddhism is the religion that founded by Gautama Buddha/Shakyamuni Buddha with its main symbols are five coloured Buddhist flag & Dharma Wheel, its most iconic structure is the Mahabodhi Temple Complex of Bodh Gaya from India. architectural style is the temple that constructed based on Chinese
philosophy called Feng Shui(风水) with the structure features like
dougong/wooden bracket system(斗拱), curved roof & eaves etc.
