Pasir Salak Historical Complex/巴西沙叻历史广场

Pasir Salak is the village located in the Kampung Gajah where is the subdistrict capital of Kampung Gajah Subdistrict that named after the sandy area near the Perak River/Sungai Perak that fulfilled with the fruit skins of Salak, it is famous for its historical event which is the assassination tragedy of the former British Perak Resident, late Mr.J.W.W.Birch that lead by Maharaja Lela on 1875. The main economy income in here is rice paddy. Located not far from Pasir Salak is th Langkap where is contains the one of only two Chinese community paddy fields of Malaysia called Kampung Chui Chak.

The Things Must Do:

巴西沙叻是以霹雳河边充满蛇皮果(Salak)果皮的沙堆区来命名的位于甘榜牙也副县的县府甘榜牙也内的村庄，它以一八七五年由马哈拉惹李拉(Maharaja Lela)所领导的前英国驻霹雳参政司已故J.W.W.毕治(J.W.W.Birch)先生暗杀事件的历史事件而闻名。这里主要经济来源是稻米。位于巴西沙叻不远处就是拥有全马来西亚唯一两座华人稻田区之一的水闸新村的冷甲。

Visitors can also tasting the handmade Fuzhou Pillow Pau with flavours like kaya, red bean paste & peanut in the Tong Fong Coffee Shop by first come first serve or others handmade Pau/Baozi such as Red Bean Paste Pau & Fermented Bean Curd Pau etc. & also the egg & flour made steamed Cantonese pastry called Cantonese Sponge Cake in the Pao Lo Coffee Shop of Langkap. Pau/Baozi is believed to be founded by the military strategist called Zhuge Liang(诸葛亮) from Three Kingdoms era of China. Kaya is the jam made from coconut milk & egg which is famous for serving with bread in Malaysia & Singapore.

Teluk Intan(formerly known as Teluk Anson/Teluk Mak Intan) is the district capital of Lower Perak/Hilir Perak District & also local government seat of Teluk Intan Municipal Council/Majlis Perbandaran Teluk Intan with the bus terminal & public hospital where its former name, Teluk Anson is named after the British colonial officer called late Mr.Edward Anson where has been changed its name to Teluk Intan means Diamond Bay during its centenary of establishment of the town on 1982, it is famous for handmade bamboo baskets, shipbuilding industry, Teluk Intan style Chee Cheong Fun & Fragrant Biscuit/Heong Peah/Fujian(Hokkien) Style Matisu. In the Teluk Intan, visitors can admiring the migratory birds island(Pulau Bangau) & fireflies of Perak River/Sungai Perak by river cruise tour operators. The Chinese pagoda shaped like mechanical clock tower, former water tower & former beacon for ships of Teluk Intan which is the National Heritage of Malaysia that built in 1885 about 25m high by late contractor, Mr.Leong Choon Chong(梁全忠) & late architect, Mr.Leong Choon Cheong(梁景昌), it is looks like eight storeyed tower from outside but the tower actually is three storeyed & it is leaned due to its foundation has been weaken by the flooded water of Perak River/Sungai Perak. Visitors can overlooking the town centre of Teluk Intan on the top of tower & admiring the interior design of this former water tower. The tower is also exhibits the historical photos of Teluk Intan & selling souvenirs even changing its tower lighting from time to time during the night. The road located near the tower called Ah Cheong Road/Jalan Ah Cheong is also named after the Mr.Leong Choon Cheong.

这是建于一八八五年的由已故承包商梁全忠先生与已故建筑师梁景昌先生所建立的约二十五米高相似中式宝塔形状的安顺机械钟楼、前水塔及前船只照明塔甚至马来西亚国家遗产，这座外观相似八层的塔事实上里面只有三层及它是因霹雳河河水泛滥导致地基衰弱而陡斜。游客可在塔上观看安顺镇中心及观赏这座前水塔的内观设计。这座塔也展览着安顺旧时照片及售卖纪念品甚至在夜间期间随时更换灯光。斜塔附近的阿昌街是以梁景昌先生来命名。

The one of oldest Chinese temple of Teluk Intan & also former court of Fujian/Hokkien community that dedicated to Chinese God of Loyalty & also Patron God of Nan'an of Fujian Province of China called Lord Guangze King(广泽尊王/郭忠福/郭圣公) since 1845 & rebuilt on 1883 & also contains Nine Emperor Gods Shrine/Tow Boo Keong Shrine that dedicated to Chinese Folk Gods & Taoist Gods of Charles's Wain Nine Emperor Gods(九皇大帝/九皇爷) & the well decorative murals that surrounded the Maitreya Buddha statue, it is famous for its ancient bell, wooden chariots & three "Leaders"(家长) statues. Guangze King Belief is the Chinese folk religion which is originated from Fengshan Temple(凤山寺) of Nan'an of Fujian Province of China.
