Brief Description of State of Perlis Indera Kayangan/玻璃市州简介:
Perlis is the smallest state in Malaysia.The name of Perlis is derived from various type of stories including Thai word, Phrao Loi(พร้าวลอย) means coconut washed ashore or Malay word, Peroleh means gift etc. The meaning of Indera Kayangan still unknown. The monarchy of Perlis(also known as House of Jamalullail) is founded by Raja Syed Hussain Jamalullail who is the descendant of first Village Headman/Penghulu of Perlis, Syed Harun Jamalullail on 1843. The state capital of Perlis is Kangar but the official palace is located in the Arau.
