Gopeng/务边:

Tempurung Cave/椰壳洞

Gopeng is the town where is the birthplace of famous Chinese medicine brand shop called Eu Yan Sang(余仁生) that named after the a Chinese called Mo Peng(毛兵) & then changed to Go Peng by British colonists. The town is famous for rice flour made noodles called Lai Fun(濑粉/酹粉), Lady Dai Fried Jicama(带姐炸卷/炸沙葛) which is made with pork lard & jicama that served with Lai Fun noodle soup, traditional houses of Kampung Rawa & the eco tourism activities like camping, caving, whitewater rafting, Rafflesia flowers watching trekking, Rajah Brooke Birdwing Butterflies watching Trekking & waterfalls abseiling etc. It is also contains sightseeing bus services, the village of Gopeng called Kopisan Baru is also planted coffee plant. The area is also territory of the Kinta Valley(Lembah Kinta) National Geopark/Geopark Lembah Kinta & the Geographical Indication of Gopeng is the Gopeng Gaharu/Agarwood. The late Mr.Eu Tong Hong(余东雄) & late Mr.Kok King Mak(郭继枚) whose are one of the 72 Matrys of Yellow Flower Mound/Huanghuagang(黄花岗七十二烈士) that against the Qing Dynasty of China & the local cartoonist, Mr.Mohammad Nor Khalid/Lat who is famous for its comics like Kampung Boy has been titled as Living Person of National Heritage of Malaysia and his younger brother & also film director, late Mr.Mohamad Mohammad Khalid/Mamat Khalid who is famous for Kampung Pisang film series etc. are also the Gopeng men. Furthermore, the Lawan Kuda which is the largest tropical ornamental fish breeding zone of Malaysia & Jeram where is famous for many twins that born in here & Ground Tea/Lei Cha(擂茶) is also located in here.

The Things Must Do:
1.Learning the history of Gopeng in the Gopeng Museum & Gopeng Heritage House.
2.Buying the soy sauce at Hup Teck Soy Sauce Factory.
3.Going around the HOGA Gaharu Tea Valley by van services.
4.Visiting the one of longest cave system of Peninsular Malaysia, Tempurung Cave.

务边是以一名名叫毛兵(Mo Peng)的华人来命名后英国殖民者将其改为Go Peng 同时也是著名中药店品牌余仁生的发源地的市镇。这座市镇是以其粘米粉制造的面条濑粉/酹粉、配搭濑粉汤面来吃的以猪油渣与凉薯/沙葛来制造的带姐炸卷/炸沙葛、瓦屋仔及像露营、洞穴活动、激流泛舟、大王花/莱佛士花观赏途径、翠叶红颈凤蝶观赏途径和瀑布绳降活动等生态旅游活动闻名。它也拥有观光公车服务，务边的村庄新咖啡山也种植着咖啡树。这里也是近打谷国家地质公园的区域内以及务边地理标志产品是务边沉香木。中国反满清皇朝的黄花岗七十二烈士之一的已故余东雄先生与已故郭继枚先生以及被誉为马来西亚国家遗产活人物的以其如《甘榜小子》(Kampung Boy)等漫画闻名的本地漫画家莫哈末诺卡立/拉特(Mohammad Nor Khalid/Lat)先生与其弟弟兼以《香蕉村》(Kampung Pisang)电影系列闻名的导演已故玛末卡立(Mohamad Mohammad Khalid/Mamat Khalid)先生也是务边人。另外，全马来西亚最大的热带观赏鱼养殖区拉湾古打以及以许多双胞胎在此地出生和擂茶闻名的也南也坐落在这里。

Kon Yin Temple Gopeng/务边观音古庙

The Chinese temple that dedicated to Chinese, Buddhist & Taoist Goddess of Mercy called Lord Avalokiteśvara(观音菩萨/观音大士/慈航真人/慈航大士) since 1892 where is comes crowded with the believers whose want to make a wish to the Goddess of Mercy/Lord Avalokiteśvara for giving a child so that a huge statue of Goddess of Mercy(Lord Avalokitesvara) of Given Child(送子观音) about 23 feet is built near the temple. The Goddess of Mercy/Avalokiteśvara's Birthdays is celebrated during the Nineteenth Day of Second Month(Birthday), Nineteenth Day of Sixth Month(Enlightment Day) & Nineteenth Day of Ninth Month(Nirvana Day) of Chinese Lunar Calendar. The Chinese temple architectural style is the temple that constructed based on Chinese philosophy called Feng Shui(风水) with the structure features like dougong(斗拱), curved roof & eaves etc. Located not far away from the temple is the Gopeng Giant Pipe/Paip Besar Gopeng which is remain of water supply pipe for tin mining purpose since 1908.

这是建于一八九二年前称水月宫的以信徒向观音菩萨/观音大士/慈航真人/慈航大士许愿求子闻名因此庙宇附近建造了一座约二十三尺高的巨型送子观音像的供奉华人民间信仰、佛教与道教慈悲神明观音菩萨/观音大士/慈航真人/慈航大士的华人庙宇。观音诞是在华人农历二月十九日(生日)、六月十九日(成道日)与九月十九日(涅槃日)期间庆祝。中式/汉式庙宇建筑风格是根据华人/汉人风水哲理来建造像斗栱、曲线型屋顶与屋檐等建筑特色的庙宇。位于庙宇不远处就是建于一九零八年用以锡矿采矿用途的大水涵的残留部分务边大水喉。

The private museum that founded by the local non-governmental organization, Gopeng Museum Management Society/Pertubuhan Pengurusan Muzium Gopeng(务边文物馆) where is the former horse stable of one of founder of Gopeng & also the second generation owner the famous Chinese medicine shops brand called Eu Yan Sang(余仁生), late Mr.Eu Tong Sen(余东旋)'s family since 1887 for showing the history of Gopeng & vintage items like ceramics, camera, handlooms, gas lamps, typewriters, & paintings etc. even contains the tourism gallery & library. The street location of the museum is also named after the one of founder of Gopeng & also founder of Eu Yan Sang, late Mr.Eu Kong(余广) & not far away from the museum is the former site of Gopeng Museum which is the red coloured shophouse & the branch of Gopeng Museum called Gopeng Heritage House. Antique is the item has the historical value & artistic value & the vintage item is also item which is aged younger than antique.

这是由非政府组织务边文物馆所开位于建于一八八七年前身为务边开辟功臣之一兼著名中华药材店品牌余仁生第二代业主已故余东旋先生的家族马房内由务边当地居民所开展览着务边历史及像陶瓷、照相机、手工纺织机、煤气灯、打字机与绘画等旧物甚至拥有旅游展览厅及图书馆的私人博物馆。博物馆所在的街道位置也以务边开辟功臣之一兼余仁生创办人已故余广先生来命名以及不远处就是前务边文物馆的所在地红色店屋与博物馆的分馆务边文物馆之怀古楼。古董是拥有历史价值与艺术价值的物品以及旧物是岁数新过古董的物品。
