Imbak Canyon Conservation Area(also known as I.C.C.A.) is the one of last remaining unlogged lowland Dipterocarp forest reserves of Sabah located inside the canyon of Imbak River about approximately 25km long, average 750m deep & 3km wide where is served as water catchment area & also one of headstreams of Kinabatangan River that provided the jungle trekking, bird watching, educational programme, night walk, research stations & camping sites etc., this forest reserve is famous for the Imbak Falls about 39 feet wide and Big Belian Tree which is the huge tree of Bornean Ironwood has been nicknamed as The Old Man of Forest etc., it is also breeding over 500 species of flora & fauna including the Clouded Leopard, Bornean Orangutan(largest tree dwelling mammal/arboreal mammal of the world), Borneo Pygmy Elephant(smallest Asian Elephant subspecies & also smallest elephant species of the world) & Banteng/Tembadau etc., it is also part of Heart of Borneo & also served as wildlife corridor between the Maliau Basin, Imbak Canyon and Danum Valley. Kinabatangan River is the second longest river of Malaysia about 560km long which is starting from mountain of South West Sabah to the Sulu Sea has been nicknamed as Amazon of the East. Dipterocarpaceae family are the trees mainly growth in the tropical rainforest & some are the endangered species and the Canyon/Gorge is the deep cleft between the cliffs that formed by weathering & erosion of a river.
印巴峡谷保护区是坐落在大约二十五公里长、平均七百五十米深与三公里宽的印巴河(Imbak River)的峡谷内作为基纳巴唐岸河/京那巴当岸河的蓄水区兼源头之一的提供着森林徒步、观鸟活动、教育计划、夜间徒步游、研究站与露营区等的的沙巴其中一座最后仅存的未被砍伐开发的低地龙脑香森林保护区，以其约三十九英尺宽的印巴瀑布(Imbak Falls)以及外号为森林中的老人(The Old Man of Forest)的坤甸铁樟木(Belian)的巨树等闻名，它也抚育着超过五百种动植物品种包括云豹、婆罗洲猩猩(全世界最大的树栖哺乳类动物)、婆罗洲侏儒象(最小的亚洲象亚种兼全世界最小的大象品种)及爪哇野牛等在内，它也是同时也作为马廖盆地、印巴峡谷与丹浓谷之间的野生动物廊道的婆罗洲之心(Heart of Borneo)的一部分。基纳巴唐岸河/京那巴当岸河是外号为东方亚马逊的从沙巴西南区山群开始流向苏禄海为结束的约五百六十公里长的全马来西亚第二长河流。龙脑香科是主要生长在热带雨林中及一些还是濒危物种的树木以及峡谷是由一条河流经过风化与侵蚀所形成的悬崖之间的很深的裂缝。
