峇眼拿督是以龙谷为县府及椰园为主要经济收入的以其垂钓乌鳢/生鱼、虾签、含有蓝眼泪的霹雳第二座州立公园九屿岛州立公园、马来村庄民宿和下霹雳八大华人渔村(峇眼拿督、双武隆、双怡杖、双吕江、峇眼里拔/双吕拔、峇眼巴硕、四条港与半港)闻名以及从前以老虎牌香饼/福建酥/福建式马蹄酥闻名的县属，它也拥有公车总站。另外，峇眼拿督也是外号为马来西亚摇滚之王(Raja Gelek)的已故M.达勿基劳(Muhammad Daud Kilau/M.Daud Kilau)先生的出生地，同时也是马来西亚最多桩点的桩上高架路的用以越过霹雳河的约十点五公里长的全马来西亚最长桩上高架路苏丹纳兹林沙桥也坐落在这里。

The tour agency which is provided the boat services to Sky Mirror of Sungai Burung where is the sandbar of Straits of Malacca that appeared like a mirror during the low tide seasons, clam digging activties & watching the blue sands/blue tears, shuttle services for going around the Bagan Sungai Burung Fishermen's Village & also the seafood platter & accommodation facilities. Sandbar is the geological formation on the sea that formed with the deposited sands that carried by the waves in the shallow water area. The blue sands/blue tears is the natural phenomenon formed by the chemcial reaction called bioluminescence effect of the dinoflagellates with blue lights during the night for defensing themselves from predators.
