Temerloh(formerly known as Semantan)(not confused with Temerlok of Perak) is the district capital of Temerloh District & also the local government seat of Temerloh Municipal Council/Majlis Perbandaran Temerloh which is contains the terminus of Route 10, bus terminal, future railway train services & public hospital. The name of Temerloh is derived from local Aboriginal word, Tempat Mereloh means sleeping place due to the local legend said that this site is the name of communal resting site of local aboriginal tribe which is called this name by the Minangkabau noblemen. 淡马鲁(前名为淡马老/三马罗/苏文丹/斯文丹)(别与霹雳的淡不落(Temerlok)混淆)是拥有十号公路的终站、公车/巴士总站、未来铁路火车服务与公共医院的淡马鲁县的县府兼淡马鲁市议会(Majlis Perbandaran Temerloh)的地方政府所在地。淡马鲁的名字源自于当地原住民文Tempat Mereloh 意译为睡觉的地方因当地传说描述这里是被米南加保贵族们称呼此名称的当地原住民部落的共用休息地区而来。这座被誉为马来西亚巴丁鱼城的彭亨第二大城市也因多数淡马鲁的地理标志产品巴丁鱼/苏氏圆腹鱼芒的养殖场坐落在此地而以发酵榴莲酱巴丁鱼/发酵榴莲酱煮苏氏圆腹鱼闻名，它也是在一九八九年亚洲音乐节获得亚洲最佳艺人奖的当地创作歌手已故苏迪曼·阿沙德(Sudirman Arshad)先生的出生地。在淡马鲁附近就是以本地自制非常辣的辣椒酱、位于水塔上的马来西亚最大的鸡公碗壁画、餐厅阿妹茶楼旁的百年古井、原名为莫喜乾街的以当地领袖已故莫喜乾先生来命名的为食街、全马来西亚第一间拥有沙滩排球场的公立学校文德甲华联中学以及其主神为华人民间信仰、佛教与道教护法神哪吒太子爷/三太子/中坛元帅的以中式牌楼、壁画、华人神明塑像与马来西亚第一座以金色琉璃片镶嵌而成的龙雕雕塑等来装饰的充满装饰性的华人庙宇莲花三太子宫闻名同时也拥有公车/巴士总站与城际列车/城际火车服务的市镇文德甲以及拥有以山竹闻名的吉道新村、城际列车/城际火车服务和由马来西亚半岛野生动物与国家公园保护局(Jabatan Perlindungan Hidupan Liar & Taman Negara Semenanjung Malaysia/PERHILITAN)所开的白肢野牛保育中心的瓜拉吉挠。

It is the riverfront recreational park located in the river confluence between the Pahang River/Sungai Pahang & Semantan River/Sungai Semantan which is contains the suspension bridge & Patin fish sculpture, it is contains the wooden boat services that take passengers to the opposite side of the park & river cruise services for cruising along the Pahang River/Sungai Pahang & the Patin fish farm of this river. The road in here called Wagga Wagga Avenue is used for commemorating the friendship between Temerloh of Malaysia & Wagga Wagga of Australia so that Wagga Wagga is also contains a Temerloh Avenue. Patin/Iridescent Shark is the endangered shark catfish species which its appearance looks like shark. Pahang River/Sungai Pahang is the longest river in Peninsular Malaysia about 459km long which is starting flows from the river confluence of the Jelai River/Sungai Jelai & Tembeling River/Sungai Tembeling to the South China Sea. Located not far from here is the Youth Market@Lepak Lorong/Pasar Anak Muda@Lepak Lorong which is the creativity night market along the old street called Dato' Abu Samah Road/Jalan Dato' Abu Samah(former site of night market during the 1990s) with hawker stalls that usually owned by youth community for selling local street foods, trendy foods, handicrafts, massage services, clothes & ornamental items etc. that operating from 5pm to 12am with different themes on every Friday, its entrance is marked by an archway.

It is the Chinese temple since 1923 where is dedicated to Chinese Goddess of Sea called Lord Mazu(妈祖/天后娘娘) that famous for its fortune wheel & its courtyard gardens is decorated by traditional Chinese lanterns, wishing ribbons, mini great wall & fish pond etc. This Chinese temple is crowded during Spring Festival/Chinese New Year & also held the Chinese calligraphy writting competition on every year, this temple is managed by the local Chinese social organization called Hainan Association of Temerloh District(淡属海南会馆) which is also provided Chinese calligraphy class in this temple. The Mazu Belief is the Chinese folk belief which is dedicated to the most influential goddess of sea of China who is originally called Lin Moniang(林默娘) that originated from Mazu Temple of Meizhou(湄洲妈祖祖庙) of Putian(莆田) Municipality in the Fujian Province of China has been described as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of China. The Chinese temple architectural style is the temple that constructed based on Chinese philosophy called Feng Shui(风水) with the structure features like dougong/wooden bracket system(斗拱), curved roof & eaves etc.

Smiling Mountain(Mount Senyum) Recreational Forest is the limestone hills complex of Gua Musang Formation about 486m high located in the Jengka Lowland Dipetrocarp Forest Reserve where is consist of Mount Senyum & Mount Jebak Puyuh that contains over 20 caves complex such as Seven Pools Cave(Gua Kolam Tujuh/Gua Kolam 7) with seven levels dried pond, Wind Cave(Gua Angin), Moonlight Cave(Gua Terang Bulan) with a hole where the sunlight can shining a line into the cave, Garden Cave I(Gua Taman Satu) & Garden Cave II(Gua Taman Dua) etc. It is also the mountain hiking site, geosite & Mesolithic Age/Middle Stone Age(Stone Age between the Paleolithic Age(c. 3.3 million years ago to c. 11700 years ago) and Neolithic Age(between c. 10000 B.C. to c. 2000 B.C.) archaeological site where is contains the coral formation rocks & also the fossils of conodonts(extinct marine jawless vertebrates/jawless fishes), algaes & echinoderms(including the starfishes, sea urchins, crinoids/sea lilies & sea cucumbers etc.) etc. due to it is the ancient seabed, it is also breeding the herbal plants. The hills are named after the former Sultan of Pahang when he is asking his followers about the mountain's name & the followers are smiling(Malay word called Senyum) due to unknown during his visiting to here. The local legend of Tok Long & Puteri Bunian is also born in here because the tomb of Tok Long has been discovered in the cave. Karst Cave is the cave which is formed with soluble rocks that dissolved by rainwater & groundwater with organic acid. Dipeterocarpaceae family are the trees mainly growth in the tropical rainforest & some are the endangered species.

微笑山休闲森林是位于增卡低地龙脑香科森林保护区内约四百八十六米高的包含了拥有超过二十座洞穴群例如含有七层已干涸的水坑的七潭洞(Gua Kolam Tujuh/Gua Kolam 7)(、风洞(Gua Angin)、含有以阳光可在一个小洞口直线照射下来的明月洞(Gua Terang Bulan)、花园一洞(Gua Taman Satu)、花园二洞(Gua Taman Dua)等洞穴的微笑山及泽巴浦约山的话望生地层(Gua Musang Formation)的石灰山群。这里也是拥有因这里为古代海床而出现的珊瑚形成的岩石以及牙形虫(已绝种的海洋无颚类脊椎动物/无颌类动物)、藻类植物和棘皮动物(包括等在海星、海胆、海百合与海参等内)等化石的登山区、地质学区与中石器时代(旧石器时代(大约330万年前至大约11700年前之间)与新石器时代(大约公元前10000 年至大约公元前2000 年之间)之间的石器时代)的考古区，它也抚育着草药。这座山的名字源自于前彭亨州苏丹当时到访此山时询问他的追随者有关此山的名字时因追随者不知名字而微笑而命名此山为微笑山。这里也是名为Tok Long 与Puteri Bunian 的当地传说的诞生地因Tok Long 的陵墓在山洞内被发现。溶洞是由被含有有机酸的雨水与地面水溶解的有溶性岩石所形成的洞穴。龙脑香科是主要生长在热带雨林中及一些还是濒危物种的树木。

Sang Riang Senior Citizens' Home is the non-profit senior citizen care organization which is founded by three women including the head of this senior citizen care centre called Ms.Yap Yoke Moe(叶玉梅) on 2004 so that its Chinese name is called Sang Riang(叁娘) means three females that opened for public to visit by learning more information & function methods about the seniors care centre through the guided tour services of volunteers in here, it is also the first multi purpose retirement home of Malaysia where is served as the home of the homeless senior citizens which consists of Chinese, Indian, Malay that contains places of worships of Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity & Islam for the senior citizens whose lived in here and its surroundings areas is also decorated with murals. Except for that, the centre is also famous for its Ancestral Memorial Hall of Ten Thousand Chinese Surnames located inside the Sang Riang Di Zi Gui Education Centre where is the memorial hall for commemorating the ancestors of ten thousands Chinese surnames clans. 叁娘善心老人院是在二零零四年由是由三名妇女包括现任老人院院长叶玉梅女士在内所创立因此而命名为叁娘的现已通过通过志工们的导览服务来开放让公众来参观以了解更多关于老人院的资讯与运作方式的非营利乐龄人士看护机构，它也是拥有提供给这里乐龄人士们的如佛教、印度教、基督教与伊斯兰教的宗教场所还有其周围地区以壁画来装饰的作为由华人、印度人与马来人组成的无家可归的乐龄人士们的住所的全马来西亚第一间多元化用途的老人院。除此之外，这间中心也以其坐落在叁娘弟子规中心内用以纪念万家姓氏宗族的祖先的中华民族万姓先祖纪念堂闻名。乐龄人士是依据联合国标准为年龄高过六十岁的需要保护的人们。

Seng Huat Temple Mengkuang is the Chinese Temple where is moved to here from original site in the Malaysian Chinese New Village/Kampung Baru called Mengkuang on 1978 with main deity is Chinese Goddess of Sea called Lord Mazu(妈祖/天后娘娘) that contains the several photo spots such as huge statue of Lord Mazu about 16 feet tall, landscaped gardens with Koi fish pond & artificial stream, artificial mountain with deities statues called Prosperity and Longevity Mountain(福寿峰), Artificial Cave Altar of God of Prosperity(财神洞), statue of Chinese God of Marriage called Lord Yue Lao(月下老人/月下老儿/月老/柴道煌) & Yew Plum Pines/Buddhist Pines/Fern Pines/Podocarpus macrophyllus(罗汉松) etc., this temple is also contains the light displays decoration during the night & also comes crowded during the Lord Mazu's Deity Birthday on 23th Day of Third Month of Chinese Lunar Calendar. The Mazu Belief is the Chinese folk belief which is dedicated to the most influential goddess of sea of China who is originally called Lin Moniang(林默娘) that originated from Mazu Temple of Meizhou(湄洲妈祖祖庙) of Putian(莆田) Municipality in the Fujian Province of China has been described as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of China. Located not far from Mengkuang is the Kemayan where its name is believed to be originated from legend of half cow half horse creature or named by Chinese community that famous for sugarcane, banana & jackfruit, the Kemayan is also the hometown of local film and television composer, Ms.Joy Ngiaw/Jing Yi Ngiaw(吴婧怡) who has been awarded the several international awards like Children's and Family Emmy Awards on 2026. Furthermore, the majority people whose are lived and working in the Kemayan are people from the nearby  Malaysian Chinese New Village/Kampung Baru located in the Negeri Sembilan called Sungai Lui(not confused with Sungai Lui of Pahang) where is also the happening site of Sungai Lui Massacre on 8 October 1942 during the Japanese Occupation Era with a memorial for commemorating this tragedy event.

明光圣法殿(另名为阿婆庙)是在一九七八年从马来西亚华人新村明光新村的原来地点搬迁至此地的拥有拍照区例如约十六英尺高的妈祖/天后娘娘的巨型塑像、含有鲤鱼池与人造小溪的园艺型公园、含有神明塑像的假山福寿峰、人造洞穴神坛财神洞、华人姻缘神月下老人/月下老儿/月老/柴道煌的塑像以及罗汉松等的以华人女海神妈祖/天后娘娘为主神的的华人庙宇，它在晚上期间也含有灯光装饰还有在每个农历三月二十三的妈祖诞期间吸引人潮。妈祖信仰是源自于中国福建省莆田市的湄洲妈祖祖庙供奉原名为林默娘的中国最有影响力的海神以及它还被列为中国的联合国教科文组织非物质文化遗产。位于明光不远处就是名字相信是源自于半牛半马动物的传说或由华人社群所命名而来的以甘蔗、香蕉与波罗蜜/菠萝蜜/木菠萝闻名的金马扬(前名为金马羊)，金马扬也是获得多项国际奖项如二零二六年的美国儿童与家庭艾美奖的本地配乐师吴婧怡女士的故乡。另外，大多数在金马扬居住与工作的人们原是来自坐落在森美兰内也是日本统治时期期间的一九四二年十月八日(农历八月二十九日)双溪镭大屠杀的发生地点因此这里含有一座纪念此悲剧事件的纪念碑的马来西亚华人新村双溪镭(别与马来名字同名的彭亨的双溪内混淆)。
