Chong Long Gong Temple/崇龙宫(摸鱼大伯公)

Batu Pahat(also known as B.P./Saltmaker City/Bandar Penggaram) is the district capital of Batu Pahat District & also local government seat of Batu Pahat Municipal Council/Majlis Perbandaran Batu Pahat where is contains the public hospital, bus terminal & ferry services to Selat Panjang of Indonesia. The name of Batu Pahat is originated from the well that excavated by the Siamese troops near Minyak Beku during their war against the Malacca Sultanate army during the past & another claimed that Batu Pahat was named after the former rock quarrying site in here which is the granite stones supplying for Portuguese to build the A'Famosa Fortress in Malacca. Another name of Batu Pahat is Saltmaker City/Bandar Penggaram which is derived from this city was famous for its salted fish during the past time. The city also formerly known as Little Paris of Malaysia due to large group of textile industries in here but now called as Temple City of Malaysia & Biscuit City because the several Chinese temples & biscuits manufacturing factories like Munchy's, Hup Seng(Table Tennis Brand) & Hwa Tai etc. are built in here. The famous Japanese poet, late Mr.Mitsuharu Kaneko(金子光晴/Kaneko Mitsuharu) is also written his travelogue, Marei Ran’in Kikoh/Malay & Dutch East Indies Travelogue(マレー蘭印紀行/马来兰印纪行) in the former Japanese Club of Batu Pahat. The local cuisine in here are Tomato Sauce Flavour Dumpling Mee, Ogura Cake, Fried Bean Curd Sheet(豆支), Nasi Beriani Gam, Mee Racun, Pork Satay, Traditional Chinese Pastries etc. & also the local famous coffee of nearest towns called Senggarang. Furthermore, first do-it-yourself playground of Malaysia which is transformed from the former dumping area by local, Mr.Tan Ching Swee(陈清水) that contains carousel, zipline, pirate ship, see-saw, swings & bumper cars etc. called D.I.Y.Playground is also located in Batu Pahat. Furthermore, the Batu Pahat is also birthplace of local film director, Mr.Chiu Keng Guan(周青元) who is famous for its local films like "WooHoo!"(大日子 Woohoo!), "Great Day"(天天好天) & "The Journey"(一路有你) etc. Located not far from the Batu Pahat is the Rengit where is the subdistrict capital of Rengit Subdistrict that famous for its coffee & Malay Chicken Rice known as Nasi Ayam Ali & its Chinese history is related to Chinese Taiwan film, "The Quest"(落番).

峇株巴辖(另称盐匠城/帆加兰)是拥有公共医院、公车总站与前往印尼实拉班让的渡轮服务的峇株巴辖的县府兼峇株巴辖市议会(Majlis Perbandaran Batu Pahat)的地方政府所在地。峇株巴辖的名字源自于马六甲王朝/满刺加王国军队与暹罗军队开战时暹罗军队在米那务固或海口所挖掘出来的井因此得名。另一个说法则是这里从前是提供建造马六甲爱法摩沙城墙的岩石的采石场坐落在这里。峇株巴辖的另名盐匠城/帆加兰则源自于这里曾经是以咸鱼闻名的城市。旧时的峇株巴辖充满许多纺织业在此设立而享有马来西亚小巴黎之称但现在因这儿出现许多华人庙宇与像马奇(Munchy's)、合成(兵乓球牌)与华大等饼干厂而享有马来西亚庙城与饼干之城的称号的荣耀。著名日本诗人已故金子光晴先生(Mitsuharu Kaneko/Kaneko Mitsuharu)先生也在峇株巴辖的前日本俱乐部东洋客栈内编写其游记马来兰印纪行(マレー蘭印紀行)。当地特有美食有番茄汁馄饨面/云吞面、相思蛋糕、豆支、印度香饭(Nasi Beriani Gam)、毒面(Mee Racun)、猪肉沙爹、华人传统礼饼等以及附近城镇新加兰的特产咖啡。另外，拥有旋转木马、溜索、海盗船、跷跷板、秋千和碰撞车等的由当地人陈清水先生从前垃圾场转型为全马来西亚第一座自制游乐场DIY 私人游乐场也坐落在峇株巴辖。另外，峇株巴辖也是以本地电影《大日子 Woohoo!》、《天天好天》和《一路有你》等闻名的本地导演周青元先生的出生地。位于峇株巴辖不远处就是前名为林月港的以其咖啡和马来鸡饭阿里鸡饭闻名及其华人历史与中国台湾电影《落番》有关联的龙引副县的县府龙引，新加兰、文律(Benut)与龙引三镇合称为新文龙。
