Kudat/古达:
Kudat(formerly known as Tomborungan & formerly titled as Coconut City) is the divisional capital of Kudat Division/Bahagian Kudat & also district capital & local government seat of Kudat District located in the Eastern Sabah Security Zone where is named after the coarse grass called Kutad that contains the one of oldest Chinese schools of Malaysia since 1903 called S.J.K.(C) Lok Yuk Batu 1 Kudat(古达市区乐育小学), terminus of Route 1 Sabah, public hospital, bus terminal, domestic airport services & ferry services to Banggi Island/Pulau Banggi & Tun Mustapha Park, it is the birthplace of third Governor/Yang Dipertua Negeri & also first & fifth Chief Minister of Sabah, late Mr.Fuad Stephens/Donald Stephens, it is famous for surfing, coconut, pigs, salted peanut & Yong Tau Foo & also geographical indication known as Pinakol Beads & woven products called Rinago. Gong of Rungus are the musical instruments whose are used for special occasions purpose like wedding ceremony and harvest festival etc. & searching for missing persons in the forest during the past that consists of Kulintangan, Canang, Kuritikon and Seludun & Rungus/Momogun Rungus are the ethnic group of Borneo whose are majority lived in the Northern Region of Sabah.

Island is the boat shaped like rock formation where is famous for its
legend of Supirak said that the curse of a lady called Supirak to turn
her son's ship into a rock.
