Batu Kawan is the urban area of Bukit Mertajam & also headquarters of Northern Corridor Implementation Authority/Northern Corridor Economic Region(NCIA/NCER) where is famous for the Penang State Stadium, 12 Waves which is the largest single storey warehouse of Malaysia & also longest warehouse of Malaysia with restaurants & longest Japanese garden of Malaysia about 750m long, The Ship Campus which is the first passenger cruise shaped like higher education institution of Malaysia & also first higher institution of Malaysia located in the industrial zone & Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge(Route E28) which is the one of longest bridges of South East Asia with largest toll plaza of Malaysia that connecting the Province Wellesley/Seberang Perai & Penang Island/Pulau Pinang by crossing the Penang Strait, its former economic incomes are sugarcane, rubber & coconut & now is the industrial zones like Penang Science Park. Located near the Batu Kawan is the Aman Island which is the island & also Malay fishermen's village located on the Penang Strait where its name means island of peace in Malay words that famous for floating seafood restaurants, prawn noodles/Mee Udang, ancient well which is excavated 2.5m deep for discovering gold ore but only the gold coloured stone has been discovered on 1789 known as Telaga Emas, Belacan, Fried Breadfruit Crackers/Kerepek Sukun & oldest breadfruit/sukun tree of Malaysia which is planted by local Islamic religious teacher, late Tok Awang on 1890 etc., it is need to arrive by boat services of Batu Musang Jetty/Jeti Batu Musang. Furthermore, Bukit Tambun where is the town that famous for murals, multi coloured shophouses, seafood restaurants, former residence of founder of Bukit Tambun, late Mr.Khaw Boon Aun(许武安) has been nicknamed as Sugar King, former mansion of local entrepreneur, late Mr.Heah Swee Lee(连瑞利)(the filming site of China-Malaysia-Singapore co-production television series, "Little Nyonya"(2020)/小娘惹), wishing tree & fishermen's village called Ban Liau(网寮)(its name is derived from sun drying the fishing nets) with wishing well etc. is also located nearby, it is believed to be the place of origins of Tambun Biscuit, it is comes crowded during the Bukit Tambun Chap Goh Mei Ceremony(武吉淡汶元宵节潮州大锣鼓提灯游行) which is the parade of drum and gong troupe & citizen will holding the lanterns that the drum and gong troupe will be drummming from home to home on Lantern Festival of 15th Day of First Month of Chinese Lunar Calendar every year & the Biscuits Opera(饼戏) by offering the Tambun Biscuit and Teochew Opera during the deities birthday of two Chinese Gods called Lord Sun Huangye(English translate)(孙王爷) & Lord She Ren Gong(English translate)(舍人公) on Tenth Month of Chinese Lunar Calendar every year.
 
峇都交湾是以槟城/槟榔屿州体育馆、含有餐厅与约七百五十米长的全马来西亚最长的日本花园的全马来西亚最大的单层货仓兼全马来西亚最长的货仓12 Waves、全马来西亚第一间邮轮形状的高等学府兼全马来西亚第一间位于工业区内的高等学府船舶学院以及越过槟威海峡来连接着威尔斯利省/威省和槟榔屿/槟岛的含有全马来西亚最大的收费站的约二十四公里长的东南亚第二长的大桥兼马来西亚最长的大桥苏丹阿都哈林大桥/第二槟威大桥(E28 号公路)闻名的大山脚的市区兼北马走廊执行委员会/北马经济特区(北马经济走廊)(NCIA/NCER)的总部，其从前经济收入为甘蔗、橡胶和椰子而现今为像槟城科学园的工业区。位于峇都交湾附近就是位于槟威海峡上以水上海鲜餐厅、虾面、名叫金井(Telaga Emas)的在一七八九年挖掘两点五米深用以寻找金矿但只发现金色石头的古井、峇拉煎/马来盏、面包果炸薯片以及由名为已故Tok Awang 的当地伊斯兰宗教导师在一八九零年所种下的全马来西亚最古老的面包果树等闻名的岛屿兼马来渔村平安岛(前名为安曼岛)，它需以巴都木桑码头的船只服务来到达。另外，以壁画、五彩缤纷的店屋、海鲜餐馆、外号为糖王的武吉淡汶的开辟者已故许武安先生的故居、作为马来西亚与新加坡合作的电视剧二零二零年版《小娘惹》的取景地的当地企业家已故连瑞利先生的前别墅、许愿树以及含有许愿井的其名字源自于晒渔网的渔村网寮等闻名的市镇武吉淡汶也坐落在这里附近，它也相信是淡汶饼的发源地，它在每年农历正月十五的元宵节期间的挨家挨户打锣鼓的锣鼓队与民众提灯笼的游行武吉淡汶元宵节潮州大锣鼓提灯游行以及每年农历十月两位华人神明孙王爷与舍人公的神诞奉上淡汶饼与潮州戏剧的饼戏期间吸引人潮。

It is the largest luxury brands outlets shopping mall of Malaysia which is also first luxury brand outlets shopping mall of Northern Region of Peninsular Malaysia even the fourth luxury brand outlets shopping centre of Malaysia that opened by local Malaysian entrepreneur, Pansar Berhad, it is contains the luxury brands such as Levi's, Hush Puppies, Puma, Coach, Crocodile & Adidas etc., it is the birthplace of Guinness World Records of largest food truck rally of the world about 158 vehicles during the Penang International Food Festival on 2018. The outlets shopping centre is the shopping centre with shops that selling the overstock, closeout, out of date & incomplete sizes products has been discounted which is originated from United States. The first shopping mall in the world is believed to be the Trajan's Market from Rome of Italy.
