Brief Description of State of Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus/森美兰州简介:

Negeri Sembilan is the tenth largest in Malaysia and eighth largest state in Peninsular Malaya. The origin of the name of Negeri Sembilan was derived from the former nine villages that built by Minangkabau Community because the "sembilan" in English language means nine. Darul Khusus means Abode of Special in Arabic words. The state capital of the Negeri Sembilan is Seremban where is formerly known as Sungai Ujong but the state ruler of Negeri Sembilan called Yang Dipertuan Besar(formerly known as Yamtuan) settled his residential palace in a small village called Seri Menanti. Monarchy of Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus is started from Raja Melewar since 1773. The state capital, Seremban which famous for Siew Pow and also the temples of Seremban. First, the Centipede Hill Thean Sze Khoon Temple which built at the top of a hill in Temiang that dedicated to Thean Sze Ya with a giant statue of centipede. Second temple in Seremban is the Cheng Koo Temple which is the oldest Sin Si Sze Ya temple in Malaysia that contains a tallest Goddess of Mercy<special power for dedicated couples who wants kids> in Malaysia. The third temple is the Zhi Yuan Tang/San Kau Tong Temple is the Confucianism-Buddhism-Taoist temple complex which has the 3D sculpture pillars and walls for sightseeing and the largest Ta Bo Ye and Er Bo Ye statues & Ba Kua in Malaysia. The Tuanku Jaafar Royal Gallery that located near Seremban Lake Gardens where the royal gallery showing the background of Monarchy of Yang Dipertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan & displaying the royal collections of former Yang Dipertuan Agong of Malaysia, late Tuanku Jaafar. Thus, a largest ostrich farm in Malaysia called Jelita Ostrich Show Farm was opened near the Seremban. In addition, a city that located near the Seremban called Nilai contains a largest wholesale centre in Malaysia called Nilai 3 Wholesale Centre. In the border town of Selangor and Negeri Sembilan called Broga has a well decorative and landscaped religious site called Broga Sak Dato Temple which believed that you will get fortune when praying to the Sak Dato who is a man that live in the cave where the altar of temple is located, a tallest Monkey God statue in Malaysia was built on the top of a hill near the temple. The Seri Menanti is the royal capital of Negeri Sembilan where the Seri Menanti Grand Palace is located. Near the palace is the old wooden palace of Yamtuan that built without any nails which has been transformed into Seri Menanti Royal Museum. Furthermore, visitors can watching the musical fountain & playing shouting fountain in the Si Thian Kong Temple of Kuala Pilah. Port Dickson is the city that famous for recreational beaches such as Cahaya Negeri Beach, Teluk Kemang Beach and Blue Lagoon Beach. The city is also called Army City due to most of army camps and training centres located in here, so a Army Museum was built to exhibits the history of army in Malaysia like replica of tunnel of Communist Party of Malaya. Furthermore, visitors can also playing the trick arts & room escape games in Alive 3D Art Gallery & Wild West Cowboy Indoor Theme Park of Dataran Segar City. If you want to know about the customs of Adat Pepatih(Custom of Negeri Sembilan) in Negeri Sembilan and the all races of  Malaysia as well as royal traditions and customs of monarchy of Malay rulers of Malaysia except Federal Territory, Malacca, Penang, Sarawak and Sabah, you need to pay a visit to the Custom Museum that located in Kuala Klawang. You must go to Titi New Village to taste the Hakka Cuisine, Hakka Pastries and local fruit such as Egg Biscuit, Rice Biscuit, Mixed Biscuit and pineapple or finding the mural arts around the main street before finishing the trip to Kuala Klawang. After that, you can relax and experience the cool air of a farm from the bustling of the city in the Kee's Farmstay(also known as Pertang Farm) that located in Pertang New Village. In Rembau, you can soak your body in the natural hot springs of Wet World Pedas Hot Springs Resort. After that, don't forget taste the Petai Bun at the Sim Hiap Chang Pau Kampung in Kota. Final, you can see the railway interchange station of West Coast Line and East Coast Line of KTM Intercity Train Services called Gemas Railway Museum and taste the famous Malay chicken rice, Nasi Ayam Gemas Mustafah in the town centre of Gemas.
