Kuala Lipis is the district capital & local government seat of Lipis District where is the former state capital of Pahang before 1955 due to gold mining activities during British colonial era that its name is believed to be originated from plant called Serau Lipis or Malay word, Lepas means past due to the locals will said go to Kuala Lepas when coming to here due to its location is the river confluence zone. It is also known as Historical Town/Bandar Bersejarah of Pahang & part of Lipis National Geopark/Lipis Geopark. It is also famous for Sambal Hitam which is the black coloured fried anchovies chilli paste & also contains the bus terminal, railway train services & public hospital. It is part of Pahang Barat Plus Economic Region of East Coast Economic Region(E.C.E.R.). 立卑(前名为蚌蚶埠与另名为立啤)是因英国殖民时期的金矿活动而在一九五五年之前曾是彭亨州的首府的其名字相信源自于名叫Serau Lipis 的植物或马来文Lepas 意思为过去因为当地人因其位置在河流交汇处而要到这里时会说将去Kuala Lepas 的立卑县的县府与地方政府所在地。它也被誉为彭亨州历史城及也是立卑国家地质公园的一部分。它也著名于名为黑叁巴酱的黑色辣椒炒江鱼仔酱及也拥有公车总站、铁道火车服务和公共医院。它是东海岸经济特区的彭亨西部加强区的一部分。另外，立卑也是需通过旅游社来预订四轮驱动车或船只先来到达的以其巴都丁宜洞(Gua Batu Tinggi)、老虎洞(Gua Harimau)和青洞(Gua Hijau)等石灰岩山洞闻名的位于涌(Yong)低地龙脑香森林保护区内森林公园兼立卑国家地质公园的地质区肯弄森林生态公园的出发地点。位于立卑不远处就是被称为洞穴活动天堂的拥有像流星洞(Gua Tahi Bintang)、婚座洞(Gua Jinjang Pelamin)、含有古代岩画的一千故事洞(Gua Seribu Cerita)、鬼舞洞(Gua Hantu Menari)、含有瀑布的马来西亚日洞(Gua Padang Kawad/Gua Hari Malaysia)、可进行水上漂浮活动的女泪洞(Gua Air Mata Dayang)、秘密花园洞(Gua Hidden Garden)、桃洞(Gua Persik)、青蛙洞(Gua Katak)、直落昆仑洞(Gua Teluk Gunung)和龙鳞洞(Gua Sisik Naga)等石灰岩洞穴及以似野结鱼/马来西亚结鱼/吉罗鱼养殖区、森林步道、前往大汉山的登山路径和洞穴活动闻名的位于彭亨的国家公园的主要入口双溪日劳国家公园的莫拉波(立卑国家地质公园的一部分)以及以聘请一位向导来参观巴登东姑的由从古代海洋升出地面所形成的发现珊瑚、腕足动物(双壳类软体动物)和头足动物(包括鱿鱼、乌贼、章鱼/八爪鱼与鹦鹉螺等在内)的化石的立卑国家地质公园的地质区之一兼石灰岩洞穴峇马洞(Gua Bama)。

Temerloh is the district capital of Temerloh District & also second largest city of Pahang even the local government seat of Temerloh Municipal Council/Majlis Perbandaran Temerloh which is contains the terminus of Route 10, bus terminal, future railway train services, High Court & public hospital. Its name derived from Malay word mereloh means sleep. Another story of naming of Temerloh is came from the site is believed to be the sleeping site for Orang Asli/Aborigines called by the Minangkabau community as Tempat Mereloh. The town is famous for Patin Tempoyak & also known as Patin Town/Bandar Ikan Patin due to majority Patin/Iridescent Shark Fish Farm has been listed as Geographical Indication located in here, it is also the birthplace of local songwriter, late Mr.Sudirman Arshad who has been awarded the Asia No.1 Performer in the Asian Popular Music Awards on 1989. Patin Tempoyak is the Patin Fish that cooked with spicy & sour taste fermented durian sauce. This Chinese temple is crowded during Chinese New Year & held the Chinese calligraphy writting competition every year. The Mazu Belief is the Chinese folk belief which is dedicated to the most influential goddess of sea of China who is originally called Lin Moniang(林默娘) that originated from Mazu Temple of Meizhou(湄洲妈祖祖庙) of Putian City in the Fujian Province of China has been described as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of China. The limestone hills complex of Gua Musang Formation located in the Jengka Lowland Dipetrocarp Forest Reserve where is comprised of Mount Senyum about & Mount Jebak Puyuh about 486m high that contains various larger cave complex such as Wind Cave(Gua Angin), Moonlight Cave(Gua Terang Bulan), Garden Cave I(Gua Taman Satu) & Garden Cave II(Gua Taman Dua) etc. It is also the mountain hiking site, geological site & archaeological site where is contains the pre-historic man from Mesolithic era & also the different formation rocks such as coral formation rocks even the fossils. The hill was named after the former Sultan of Pahang when he asking his followers about the mountain name & the followers are smiling due to unknown during his visiting to here so that the Smiling Mountain/Gunung Senyum name was came out. A legend about a man called Tok Long also born in here because the his tomb was found in the cave. Karst Cave is the cave that formed with soluble rocks that dissolved by rainwater & groundwater whose are contains organic acid. Dipeterocarpaceae family are the trees mainly growth in the tropical rainforest & some are the endangered species.

This senior citizen care non-profit organisation called Sang Riang Senior Citizens' Home is founded by three women because Chinese called Sang Riang(叁娘) as three women & one of the founders is the head of this senior citizen care centre called Ms.Yap Yoke Moe(叶玉梅) who is opened her seniors care centre for public to visit, it is the first multi purpose retirement home of Malaysia.
