Ipoh(formerly known as Paloh) is the state capital of Perak & also subdistrict capital of Ipoh Subdistrict even the local government seat of Ipoh City Council/Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh has been titled as Mountain City, Little Guilin, Bougainvillea City, National Cradle of Independent Rock, Indie Rock City & Hipster Capital of Malaysia due to several limestone hills located around the city with official flower is bougainvillea & Ipoh is also the birthplace of many underground & independent music acts has been listed as one of best tourist destinations of the world by Lonely Planet on 2016 & one of Asia' Most Underrated Places by CNN on 2022 & UNESCO Creative Cities of Music on 2023. The city is named after the Ipoh Tree which is famous for street foods like Bean Sprouts Chicken, White Coffee, Ipoh Chee Cheong Fun, Hor Hee, Dong Dong Mee, Meat Floss Lotus Paste Biscuit, Dim Sum, Asiatic Pennywort Herbal Tea, Kacang Puteh & Salted Chicken etc. & contains the terminus of Route 5, Perak Stadium, sightseeing cycle rickshaw services with station in D.R.Seenivasagam Park/Taman D.R.Seenivasagam(the oldest park of Ipoh since 1950 with Japanese Gardens & amphitheatre etc. that formerly known as Coronation Park) located near the official venue of Thaipusam Festival known as Kallumalai Arulmigu Sri Subramaniar Temple, bus terminal called Terminal Amanjaya, railway train services, sightseeing bus services, public hospital, free trade zones & domestic airport services. 怡保(前称坝罗)是因以九重葛为官方花卉的多座石灰岩山群围绕着整座城市及《孤独星球》在二零一六年列这座城市为全世界最佳旅游目的地之一、在二零二二年被美国有线电视新闻网(CNN)列为亚洲最被低估的地方之一及二零二三年被列为联合国教科文组织世界创意音乐城市兼许多地下与独立音乐表演的诞生地而被誉为马来西亚山城、小桂林、九重葛城、国家独立摇滚乐摇篮、独立摇滚乐城与网红城的霹雳州首府与最大城市兼怡保副县的县府甚至是怡保市政厅(Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh)的地方政府所在地。这座以怡保树/箭毒木/见血封喉树来命名的城市也拥有五号公路的终站、霹雳体育馆、车站在大宝森节的官方举办地点斯里苏巴马廉庙旁的D.R.辛尼华沙甘公园(建于一九五零年前名为加冕公园的含有日本花园与表演台等的怡保最古老的公园)内的观光人力车服务、公车总站安曼再也公车总站(Terminal Amanjaya)、铁道火车服务、观光公车服务、公共医院、自由贸易区及本地机场服务，它以芽菜鸡、白咖啡、怡保猪肠粉、河嘻、鱼旦冬粉/冬冬粉/打烂碗、肉丝莲蓉饼、点心、崩大碗凉茶、卡章布爹和盐焗鸡等街头美食闻名。另外，这座城市也因从前其陶瓷制造业而曾经被称为马来西亚陶城以及也是当地著名医生已故伍连德先生的诊所的前地点，它也是获得如全球华语歌曲排行榜颁奖典礼与华语音乐传媒大奖等多项音乐奖项的本地创作歌手王光良先生与在二零一七年成为马来西亚第一位获得世界游泳锦标赛冠军的跳水选手的本地跳水选手张俊虹女士的故乡。其市中心被近打河分为西部(旧街场)与东部(新街场)。这座城市也是近打谷国家地质公园范围内。怡保的姐妹城市有中国的南宁与日本的福冈。位于怡保附近就是从前以花生闻名的万里望(当地粤语发音Man Lei Mong)(不要与马六甲州的万里望混淆)与从前以制鞋业闻名的红泥山(别与马来名字一样的吉辇的武吉美拉混淆)。

The square of the railway station is contains a cenotaph that commemorating the victims of World War II & Indonesia-Malaysia Confrontation, a fountain & a replanted Ipoh tree. Furthermore, the railway station is also titled as Taj Mahal of Ipoh, it is also National Heritage of Malaysia. KTMB(Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad)/Malayan Railway Berhad is the railway train operator of railway train services of Peninsular Malaysia which is founded on 1885. The first steam locomotive in the world is invented by the British mining engineer, late Mr.Richard Trevithick & the first public steam railway in the world is created by British mechanical engineer, late Mr.George Stephenson. The Mughal architectural style is the architectural style that created by Mughal Empire of India that featured the Onion domes & vaulted gateway & the Neo-Classical is the architectural style that founded in Italy during Neoclassical movement which is the structures are built by following the architectural styles of the Ancient Greek & Ancient Rome.

The tourist information centre of Ipoh(also known as Ipoh T.I.C.) where is not only provided the tourist information of Perak State but also selling the ticket of Perak Hop on Hop Off Bus that contains guided tour services during the weekends. Located near the tourist information centre is the famous mural called Old Uncle with Coffee Cup which is painted by Lithuanian artist called Ernest Zacharevic according to the true scene of Penang's old man, late Mr.Lin Bing Rui(English Translate)(林炳瑞) is drinking a cup of coffee which is located on wall of OldTown White Coffee Cafe that is also provided the map of murals of Art of Oldtown in the Pre-War Shophouses. The first cafe/coffee shop in the world is the Kiva Han from Constantinople(now known as Istanbul) of Turkey & mural is already appeared during the Paleolithic era.

The former working place of Yasmin Ahmad & mini museum located in the Kong Heng Square that showing the commercials that produced by the local film director, late Ms.Yasmin Ahmad & exhibits some memorabilia of her like poem & cloth etc. Now, it is moved to the basement floor of BookXcess Kong Heng/BookXcess Ipoh Book Store which is the former bank vault. Yasmin Ahmad is the film director who is famous for her Malaysian Petronas Festivals Commercials. The oldest operating bookstore in the world is the Livraria Bertrand/Bookstore Bertrand in the Lisbon of Portugal.

The lane since 1908 which is also known as Panglima Lane that formerly owned by the concubine of founder of Ipoh & also local tin miner, late Mr.Yau Tet Shin(姚德胜) has been transformed from former assembly point of houses of concubine & red light district to the shopping district that selling souvenirs, handicrafts, local products, desserts, snacks & street foods etc. Located beside the lane is the OldTown Heritage Centre which is the coffee museum with cafe branch of OldTown White Coffee. White Coffee is the coffee which is made by roasting coffee beans with margarine & adding the condensed milk. Coffee beans is the seeds of the berries of Coffea plant which is the native plant of tropical region of Africa can be roasted to become a drink. The first cafe/coffee shop in the world is the Kiva Han from Constantinople(now known as Istanbul) of Türkiye/Turkey.

这是建于一九零八年前身是由怡保开辟者兼当地锡矿家已故姚德胜先生的二太太/二奶所掌控的已从前妾侍居住地与红灯区改为售卖着纪念品、手工艺术品、当地特产、甜品、小吃及街头美食等的购物街。位于巷子旁就是含有旧街场白咖啡咖啡厅的咖啡主题博物馆旧街场文史中心。白咖啡是以人造黄油来烘烤咖啡豆及添加炼乳而成的咖啡。咖啡豆是源自于非洲热带区的咖啡树的果实内可用来烘焙成饮料的种子。全世界第一间咖啡厅/咖啡店是土耳其君士坦丁堡(现名为伊斯坦布尔)的Kiva Han。

The building located near the former site of Sun Cinema(中山戏院)(car parking area) where is exhibiting the largest indoor mural art experience in Ipoh with the murals that describing the history, traditional trades & culture of Ipoh even the film history, it is also contains a movie poster museum & a vintage museum called Concubine Lane Museum even the observation deck that can overlooking the Ipoh Old Town. The Straits Eclectic architectural style shophouse since 1890 which is the former Arlene Terrace & also one of oldest shoemaker shops of Ipoh called Chop Heng Woh Shoe Maker & Tailor has been transformed into the first trick art museum in Ipoh that contains over 20 pieces of trick arts like the boiled the eggs in the hot springs, upside down room, inside the magic bubble & chopping you inside the chopping board of bean sprouts chicken stall etc. The trick art is invented by the American artist called Mr.Kurt Wenner. Straits Eclectic is the architectural style of shophouses which is featured the elements of European & Asian.

The lane since 1894 which is also known as Second Concubine Lane that formerly owned by the second concubine of founder of Ipoh & also local tin miner, late Mr.Yau Tet Shin(姚德胜) has been transformed from former assembly point of casinos, opium dens, red light district & houses of concubine to the art lane with murals & colouful umbrellas like the Trishaw that painted by Lithuanian artist called Mr.Ernest Zacharevic. Located nor far from Market Lane is the Tin Alley Curated Space which is the creativity hub & also former wooden plaque making shop & cigarettes selling shop that the visitors can learning the history of these two shophouses.

The Tin ore is the material that used to make pewter, can, solder, chemicals, tin plating & tin alloy etc. Hakka community is the Chinese community whose are ancestry from southern part of coastal area of China.

Furthermore, visitors can also tasting & buying the herbal tea in the museum. Chinese herbal teas are the teas that produced with Chinese herbs which have the medical functions. It is one of oldest mosque in Ipoh located near the Kinta River/Sungai Kinta that separated the Old Town/Pekan Lama & New Town/Pekan Baru of Ipoh where is built by the Panglima Kinta called Dato Panglima Kinta Mohamed Yusof in mixed architectural styles of Mughal & Neoclassical on 1898 that contains an oldest Islamic religious school in Ipoh that built in 1950 & final resting site of Panglima Kinta family & also historical gallery, mini urban hydroponics farm & aquaculture farm, it is also the National Heritage of Malaysia. Islam is founded by Prophet Muhammad with main symbol is Star & Crescent, its main iconic structure is the Great Mosque of Mecca from Saudi Arabia. The Mughal architectural style is the architectural style that created by Mughal Empire of India that featured the Onion domes & vaulted gateway & the Neo-Classical is the architectural style that founded in Italy during Neoclassical movement which is the structures are built by following the architectural styles of the Ancient Greek & Ancient Rome. Located near the mosque is the Mural Art's Lane & also the former site of Super Kinta Department Store which is founded on 1983 but closed on 2007 has been turned into the Urban Transformation Centre(U.T.C.).  这间是位于分割怡保旧街场与新街场的近打河旁由近打酋长Dato Panglima Kinta Mohamed Yusof 于一八九八年以莫卧儿与新古典主义混合建筑风格建造的拥有一间建于一九五零年全怡保最古老的伊斯兰宗教学校及Dato Panglima Kinta Mohamed Yusof 的家族长眠之地的全怡保其中一间最古老的清真寺，它还拥有历史展览厅、微型城市水耕培植农场和养鱼场，它也是马来西亚的国家遗产。伊斯兰教是由先知穆罕默德/穆圣所创立以星月为主要标志的宗教，其最标志性的建筑物就是沙特阿拉伯麦加的禁寺。莫卧儿建筑风格是由印度莫卧儿帝国以洋葱形圆顶与拱门为特色的建筑风格以及新古典主义建筑风格是在意大利新古典主义运动时期产生以建筑物依据古希腊与古罗马的建筑风格来建造的建筑风格。在清真寺附近就是名为故仔街的壁画巷还有现已改为城市转型中心的创立于一九八三年但在二零零七年关闭的近打百货公司的前地点。壁画在旧石器时代就已经出现了。

The Chinese limestone cave temple & also geosite of Kinta Valley(Lembah Kinta) National Geopark/Geopark Lembah Kinta since 1926 where is founded by Buddhist lay, late Mr.Chong Sen Yee(张仙如) & his wife from China that dedicated to several Buddhist deities such as Lord Buddha/Shakyamuni Buddha(释迦牟尼佛/大日如来), Buddhist Dharmapala called Four Heavenly Kings/Chaturmahārājikā(四大天王/风调雨顺/四大金刚): Lord Virūḍhaka(增长天王) that holding the sword, Lord Dhṛtarāṣṭra(持国天王) that holding the Pipa(琵琶) or Ruan(阮琴), Lord Vaiśravaṇa/Vessavaṇa(多闻天王) that holding the umbrella & Lord Virūpākṣa(广目天王) that holding the dragon or snake, Future Buddha known as Lord Maitreya(弥勒菩萨), Buddhist God of Sukhavati/Western Pure Land(西方极乐/极乐世界) called Lord Amitābha(阿弥陀佛/无量佛) & Buddhist God of Hell called Lord Ksitigarbha(地藏王菩萨) etc. & also is famous for its murals that painted by artists of China, Malaysia, Singapore & Thailand such as Chinese calligraphy including the Great View(美景十分) that painted by late Mr.Chang Dai-chien/Zhang Daqian(张大千) & Perak Cave Temple(霹雳洞) that painted by late Mr.Hu Shih(胡适), Fairies images, Bodhisattva images, Several Gods Visiting the Buddha(群仙参佛图) & Praying the Buddha(礼佛图) etc. so that it has been nicknamed as Dunhuang of Southern Islands(南岛敦煌).
