Brief Description of State of Perak Darul Ridzuan/霹雳州简介:

Perak is the fourth largest state in Malaysia & second largest state in Peninsular Malaya.The name of Perak was named after "perak" means silver in Malay words because the Perak was famous for producing the silver-coloured tin ore. Darul Ridzuan means Abode of Grace in Arabic words. Perak Sultanate is founded by descendant of the Malacca/Melaka Sultanate called Sultan Muzaffar Shah I on 1528. Perak is also part of Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle(IMT-GT) & Northern Corridor Economic Region(NCER). The state capital of Perak is Ipoh where is famous for Bean Sprouts Chicken, White Coffee & Salted Baked Chicken etc. & royal capital is Kuala Kangsar. Cherating is the beach resort town of Pahang where is contains future railway train services & also famous for its sea turtle nesting sites & first Club Mediterranee/Club Med of Asia. Located not far from the Gebeng where is the terminus of Asian Highway 141(AH141) that contains the future railway train services, petroleum industrial zone, commercial port & Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park(M.C.K.I.P./马中关丹产业园).

The sea turtle conservation centre located near the Club Med Cherating which is managed by Department of Fisheries Malaysia/Jabatan Perikanan Malaysia that facing the South China Sea, it is contains the turtles pond, turtle gallery & hatchery etc. The sea turtle is the reptile which is the female will be back to the beach to dig a hole for laying eggs after mating that their eggs are temperature-dependent sex determination(T.S.D.) & the beach is the coastal landform that formed with the sands, gravel, pebble & rocks etc. that carried by the waves to the area. Located not far from the centre are the Fried Fish Crackers/Keropok Lekor stalls in the state border between the Terengganu & Pahang and former workplace of local conservationist, late Pak Su/Mr.Ariffin Hassan.
